2. Account Registration

• Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notification: You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or are inactive for an extended period.

3. Purchases & Payments

• Digital Products: All books sold on Bibek Books are digital downloads. No physical copies are shipped.
• Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are subject to change without prior notice.
• Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed through Razorpay. We do not store your payment information.
• Taxes: Where applicable, taxes may be added to the purchase price.
• License: Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read the book for personal, non-commercial use.
• No Redistribution: You may not redistribute, resell, share, or otherwise transfer purchased books to any third party.

4. Free Books

• Books offered for free are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
• You may not redistribute, share, or sell free books without explicit permission from Bibek Books.
• We reserve the right to change the status of free books to paid at any time without prior notice.

5. User-Generated Content (Reviews & Comments)

• Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit, including reviews, ratings, and comments.
• License: By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content on our platform.
• Guidelines: Reviews must be honest, respectful, and relevant. You may not submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, offensive, abusive, harassing, infringing, or containing spam.
• Removal: We reserve the right to edit or remove any content that violates these guidelines.

6. Author Publishing

• Registration: Authors must complete the author registration process and provide accurate profile information.
• Ownership: You retain full ownership and copyright of your published works.
• Content Guidelines: You warrant that your content does not infringe on any third-party rights, is not defamatory, and does not contain illegal material.
• Pricing: You set the price for your books. Bibek Books may recommend pricing but the final decision remains with you.
• Earnings: Payments to authors are processed via UPI to the registered UPI ID. Bibek Books deducts a platform fee from each sale.
• Removal: We reserve the right to remove any published content that violates our policies.

7. Intellectual Property

• Platform Content: All content on Bibek Books is owned by Bibek Books or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
• Trademarks: "Bibek Books" and our logo are trademarks of Bibek Patra. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
• License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without explicit written permission.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities:

• Uploading plagiarized, copyrighted, or infringing content without permission.
• Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities.
• Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise our systems, servers, or network.
• Using our platform for illegal, harmful, or malicious purposes.
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation.
• Uploading viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
• Harassing, abusing, or threatening other users.
• Scraping or crawling our website without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Bibek Books is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that our platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on our platform. Your use of our services is at your sole risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bibek Books and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or any damages arising from unauthorized access or third-party content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bibek Books, its affiliates, and its employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or your use of our platform in any way that is prohibited by law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use our platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, India.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
